Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Daniel studied chemistry at the University of Bonn and the Freie Universität of Berlin where he
obtained his Diploma (focusing on synthetic inorganic chemistry) and completed his doctoral
thesis 2005 (synthesis of inorganic cluster molecules/electrochemistry). Directly after obtaining
his Doctorate, Dr. Daniel started to work in the field of intellectual property for law firms in Munich
before joining Herzog Fiesser & Partner in 2010.
His areas of expertise include patents, utility models, patent prosecution and opposition proceedings,
patent nullity proceedings, and freedom-to-operate opinions.
