Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Portner studied chemistry at the University of Bonn where he
obtained his Diploma (focusing on synthetic organic chemistry) and
completed his doctoral thesis in 2006 (rearrangement reactions and dendrimers/organic chemistry).
After obtaining his Doctorate, Dr. Portner started to work in the field of intellectual property
for a law firm in Munich before joining Herzog Fiesser & Partner in 2011.
His areas of expertise include in particular the prosecution, defence and enforcement of inventions.
