Curriculum Vitae
Dr. Stößel studied physics with a focus on lasers and physical chemistry at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
He graduated with a Diploma (focus on laser cooling, laser technology and spectroscopy) at the Max-Planck-Institut für
Kernphysik, before obtaining a Doctorate in material sciences (focus on organic light-emitting devices and materials for
electronics) at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg.
Dr. Stößel has several years of experience as a research and development engineer and as a
research team leader in industrial research (focus on organic optoelectronics and polymer technology) in Germany and San
Jose, CA, USA. He started his career in the field of intellectual property in 2003. His areas of expertise include in
particular the prosecution, defence, licensing and enforcement of inventions in physics, engineering and materials
sciences, mainly in the fields of medical technology, sensor technology and analytics.
